VP R&D

SuperCom is seeking an experienced leader to join our executive team as VP R&D.

We are looking for someone with a strong technology vision and a passion for innovation.

You will lead the company’s development group, in charge of our array of products across multiple business units – IoT, Cyber and eGov. This will include ownership of the technology infrastructure and helping make our R&D group an industry leader by pushing innovation, culture and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead, grow and aspire an R&D group developing a range of innovative multi-disciplinary products and solutions.

• Direct responsibility for the delivery of high-quality software solutions on tight schedules in a fast-paced environment.

• Design solutions, evaluate architecture options, set technical direction and quality standards, guide implementation.

• Define, monitor, improve and execute development processes.

• Recruit and develop talent through effective mentoring, coaching, succession planning and retention strategies.

• Report to the company’s COO.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience leading an R&D group including software and QA engineers

• B.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent

• Proven experience with multi-disciplinary products

• Proven experience with Web, mobile and desktop applications

• Solid experience in development process agile methodologies (e.g SCRUM).

• Past experience with IoT Hardware products – an advantage

• Past experience with cyber security software solutions – an advantage

• Knowledge in telecommunication, cellular, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth – an advantage

• Proactive attitude and doing what it takes to get the job done

• Great Trouble-shooting skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Flexible in a dynamic environment
